THE ROCK CYCLE

This constantly changing relationship between materials and processes can be diagrammed into a giant cycle called the rock cycle. 

Note that in the above outline of the rock cycle, processes are capitalized, materials are not. Also, this is an idealized cycle. For example, sedimentary or igneous rocks can also be melted, all rocks can be weathered, etc.
